Dan Dare III: The Escape is a 1990 ZX Spectrum game by Probe Software. It was programmed by Dave Perry, with art by Nick Bruty. They went on to make Cool Spot, Aladdin, and Earthworm Jim among other games at Virgin Games and Shiny Entertainment.
The graphics are so large in this game that you can’t see very far, but they’re very colourful and look great. The levels are tiny, and the game itself is very short. It is really quite easy, especially if you use the nuke weapon. I enjoyed it a lot though, it plays very well.
Here is the rzx recording of my playthrough.
