I played Chants of Sennaar on Steam Deck after buying it on a whim. It’s a wonderful adventure game about communication. There are multiple groups of people in the world each of which speak a different language, you can’t understand any of them and none of the groups can speak to each other.
It reminded me a little of Another World in style, though there is no combat. The game is entirely based around puzzles, and figuring out languages. Each group has it’s own set of glyphs and their own grammar. You have a notebook where you can try to interpret the meanings, and if you get a page completely correct then it becomes verified.
