Wonderful Dizzy was released in 2020 for the ZX Spectrum. It is the eighth game in the Dizzy series, the first original one since Crystal Kingdom Dizzy in 1992. It’s based on the Wizard of Oz, and was made by The Oliver Twins.

I really enjoyed it, I think it’s probably the best Dizzy game I’ve played. The graphics are interesting, it’s like they’re leaning into the colour clash of the spectrum rather than trying to work around it as games usually do. The music is great, none of the puzzles are too hard and the character dialog is really charming.
