Sardines on Toast

A quick and simple dinner or tea.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of thick bread
  • butter
  • a tomato
  • half a red onion
  • a tin of sardines
  • olives
  • lemon juice
  • salt & pepper

Ingredients

Method

  1. Toast and butter the bread.
  2. Slice the tomato and place on top.
  3. Scatter the red onion over the tomato slices.
  4. Places the sardines and and olives on top.
  5. Sprinkle over a dash of lemon juice.
  6. Sprinkle over some of the oil from the sardines.
  7. Add salt and pepper.
